As a regional institution in the service of African States, a reference center with regard to girls’ and women’s education throughout the African Continent, the AU/CIEFFA works with focal points that will be its respondents within their respective countries given the magnitude of the continent and the targeted impact.
The AU/CIEFFA focal points are resource persons designated by their countries and relevant Ministries in respect of their competences in the area of education and gender. For this reason, they are equipped and capacitated through different workshops, training, publications and reports in line with the missions of the AU/CIEFFA in the area of girls and women Education towards the global objectives. Best practices and methodologies from different regions of Africa are shared and each focal point is made more knowledgeable at grass roots, national and regional levels.
