🎶 Call for 2nd Theme Song Proposals – #AfricaEducatesHer Campaign
The African Union International Centre for Girls and Women’s Education in Africa (AU/CIEFFA) invites submissions for a second theme song for the #AfricaEducatesHer Campaign.
𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬:
- Duration: Maximum 2 minutes
- Language: Must be performed in one of the official AU languages: English, French, Kiswahili, Spanish, Arabic, or Portuguese
- Include the lyrics of the demo with your submission
All song genres, including raps are acceptable.
Some themes to consider: harmful social norms, school-related gender-based violence, positive masculinity to promote girls’ education, girls in STEAM, including ICT, youth as champion of GWE, climate change and girls’ education, vulnerable and marginalised communities (rural girls, girls from refugee communities, out-of-school girls, girls with disabilities).
